Pilgrims & visas: One file per pilgrim, read by every department
The name as the passport writes it with the Arabic beside it, nationality, passport and ID, needs, allergies, vaccinations and an emergency contact. Housing, transport and finance read the same file, so no copy disagrees with another.

- Groups with clear stages
- A Nusuk Masar workbench
- Documents read for you
- Stays watched before they run out
- Documents filed where they belong
The pilgrim record
One record for each person who travels under your licence, with Latin and Arabic names, passports, IDs, needs and an emergency contact.
Groups with clear stages
A group forms from confirmed bookings, is prepared, cleared to leave, arrives, departs and closes — each stage with someone responsible.
A Nusuk Masar workbench
Nusuk Masar programmes, permits, readiness and dispatch orders recorded against each traveller, so your team enters what Nusuk needs from one checked list.
Documents read for you
Passports, visas, tickets and hotel vouchers are read into their fields, the passport’s machine-readable check digits verified, then checked by a person.
Stays watched before they run out
From confirmed entry to exit, you see whose stay is about to end, and a case opens if one ends with no exit — with the reports you file with the authority.
Documents filed where they belong
Passports, visas and insurance certificates kept private, scanned before anyone opens them, and filed under the record they belong to.
Screens show sample data.
Step by step
How it works
Who it’s for: Visa and Nusuk desks, group coordinators, and whoever keeps an eye on stays.
The file starts from a booking or an agency
The pilgrim’s file starts from a confirmed booking or from details the agency sends, with the name as the passport writes it and the Arabic beside it.
Documents are read into their fields
Passport, visa and ticket are read automatically, the passport’s machine-readable check digits are verified, and a person reviews the fields before they’re saved.
The group forms and is prepared
From confirmed bookings, through clear stages with someone responsible for each, until it’s cleared to travel.
One checked list for Nusuk Masar
Programmes, permits and readiness for each traveller in one list your team enters into Nusuk from — the system doesn’t submit to Nusuk on its own.
Stays are watched
From confirmed entry to exit, you see whose stay is about to end, and a case opens if one ends with no exit.
An example
A day in the season
A group of 120 pilgrims from an agency in Cairo. The agency sends the passport scans from its portal; they’re read into their fields, and the visa officer reviews them.
During the review the officer spots a name on the booking that differs from the passport, and it’s corrected before anything is entered in Nusuk. The rest of the group is ready on the checked list, and the team enters it in today’s batch.
After arrival, in the final week, the list of whose stay is about to end comes up, and operations follows their departures before the date.

Common questions
Does Umrah Link send data to Nusuk automatically?
No. Nusuk Masar is worked by hand on the company side today, so Umrah Link keeps programmes, permits and readiness for each traveller in a checked list your team works from.
Can a passport be read from a photo?
Yes. The machine-readable zone is read and its check digits verified, then a person reviews the fields before they’re saved.
Does it keep the Arabic and Latin names together?
Yes. The name as the passport writes it in Latin letters, with the Arabic name beside it, in the same pilgrim record.
Who can see passport scans?
Documents are kept private and scanned before anyone opens them, and only people whose role allows it can see them.
What happens if a pilgrim overstays?
A case opens for them, with the reports you file with the authority, and it counts in the review of the agency that sent them.
